Faulkner Leads Generals to Win Over Springfield Tech

Springfield MA-The Herkimer Generals traveled to take on Springfield Tech Rams in a non-conference matchup Sunday. The Generals controlled the game from the tip-off leading the Rams 32-21 at the half. The Generals turned in a huge second half to cruise to a 81-46 win. 

The Generals were led by freshman forward Jenna Faulkner(Otego, NY) who finished the night with 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 assists. Kapri Bradshaw (Uniondale, NY) turned in another stellar game, scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. Ajla Sedjic(Utica, NY) chipped in 15 points going 4-6 from behind the arc. 

Head Coach Matt Hazzard said; "This was our first road game since Thanksgiving and overall we were happy with the performance. It took us a little bit to get our legs going...but once we did, it all came together. It was nice to travel to another Region and grab a good team win".

The Generals improve to 11-4 on the season and are back in action Wednesday (1/26) when they host conference rival Mohawk Valley CC. Tip-off is set for 5 PM and the game will be livestreamed at here at Herkimergenerals.com.
