Esports Finishes Strong
Herkimer NY- The Herkimer Generals Esports -COD Gunfight Green finished top eight overall in NJCAA. They lost to Iowa Western 4-1, Iowa Western went on to finish second nationally. The best finish was COD Warzone, who came in third overall in the championships behind Laramie CC and Northeastern Tech. Head Coach Frank Drapalski said “Having met our goal of making the postseason in two disciplines, I look at this season as the successful continuation of what we are trying to build here at Herkimer. Call of Duty continues to be where we shine, including taking 3rd nationally in Warzone Duos and top 8 in Gunfight Duos. With an upcoming summer league, we look to return some of our best players and compete for a postseason bid, and carry that momentum into the Fall.”
