Herkimer College to offer Generals Swim Club for Youth
Herkimer College is offering a Generals Swim Club for youth ages 8 and up. The program will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from July 25, through August 24.
Workouts and lessons will focus on all aspects of competitive swimming including starts, turns, stroke development, yardage, and speed. Herkimer College swim coach Nick Lanckton will work with each swimmer according to their ability. Participants must be able to swim in deep water and provide their own caps and goggles.
Admission is $2 per day or $5 per week.
