Herkimer College Announces Reappointment of Ainsworth to its Board of Trustees

Herkimer College announced that Mark M. Ainsworth, O.D., of Herkimer, was reappointed to a second term on its Board of Trustees by NYS Governor Kathy Hochul. He will serve a six-year term.

Ainsworth was originally appointed in 2015 by former Governor Andrew Cuomo. He is the owner of Herkimer Eye Care Center. Ainsworth served as the Herkimer village mayor from 1999 to 2014 and as village trustee from 1996 to 1999 and from 2019 to 2023.
