Windster named NJCAA DIII National Player of the Week

HERKIMER, NY – For the second consecutive week, a Herkimer Generals men’s soccer player was named NJCAA DIII National Player of the Week. This week’s recipient was sophomore Jermaine Windster (Rotterdam, Holland).

Windster, a Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies major at Herkimer College, tied his season-high in assists against North Country Community College with three. The midfielder also added a goal, helping the Generals defeat the Saints 5-0 for the team’s eighth win of the season. To date, the captain has seven goals and 10 assists. His 10 assists rank fourth in the nation and first in the Region III.

His Head Coach Pepe Aragon said, “Jermaine has been tremendous for us in the first part of the regular season. He continues to attack with a great deal of pace which has resulted in positive things for this team on offense!"
