SCHENECTADY, NY – In the final conference match of the season at Boulevard Bowl, the Herkimer Generals bowling team saw the men finish fifth and the women finish third.

Herkimer’s Trevor Marston (Georgetown, NY) bowled a season-best 668 (205, 267, 196) series and game-high 267 for the men, but it wasn’t enough to push the sophomore on the Al-Conference team, coming in ninth place overall, just two spots away from the accomplishment.

Freshman Marshall Sterling (Mohawk, NY) and Stephen Cross (Ilion, NY) followed. Sterling bowled a season-best 611 (191, 225, 195), averaging 203 per game which jumped him to 29th in the conference. Cross finished 38th, thanks to a 540, his third consecutive 500 series in conference play.

Rounding out the women’s team was Ronnie Hines (South Otselic, NY), Ashley Salisbury (Sherrill, NY), Selena Barber (Mayfield, NY) and Caitlyn Frye (Broadalbin, NY). Hines bowled her first 400 series in a week after consecutive 500 series, averaging a 164.
