    Herkimer College announces academic honors for Fall 2019
    Herkimer County Community College awarded honors to 399 students for the Fall 2019 semester. Of those students awarded honors, 167 were named to the President’s List for earning a grade point average of 3.80 or higher, and 232 were named to the Dean's List for earning a grade point average between 3.25 and 3.79.

    President of Arc Herkimer to receive honorary degree at Commencement 2020
    Herkimer County Community College has announced that Kevin Crosley, president and CEO of the Herkimer County Chapter of NYSARC, Inc. (Arc Herkimer) will be awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (L.H.D.) by the State University of New York (SUNY) at Herkimer College’s 2020 Commencement. Crosley will be only the second recipient of an honorary degree at Herkimer County Community College; the first was founding College President Robert McLaughlin in 2010.

    We are closely monitoring the recent outbreak of a 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. This novel coronavirus is a respiratory tract illness that presents flu-like symptoms. It was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China, and has spread to several countries, including five confirmed cases in the US.
