The Personal Counseling Office provides students with the opportunity to speak with professional counselors about concerns affecting their potential for academic and personal success. Counselors typically provide individual therapy, but also do couples and group counseling sessions upon request. We deal with a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, sexual violence, trauma, family and relationship issues, academic concerns, and drug/alcohol problems. Services are confidential and free of charge to any HCCC student. We are also responsible for the coordination of substance abuse, sexual assault, and mental health awareness prevention programs.
