Student Ambassadors

A Student Ambassador is a self motivated student willing to volunteer their time to work with their peers and faculty/staff. Student Ambassadors are also a valuable resource to new students.
To Be Considered You Must
- Complete the application form
- Turn in a recommendation letter from a faculty/staff member
- Participate in the group & individual interviews
Role of a Student Ambassador
- Serves as a positive role model for students on campus
- Serves as a representative of HCCC
- Welcomes new students to HCCC
- Serves as an orientation leader for the new student Orientation programs
- Acts as a resource for new students & their families
- Assists with various campus wide events & community projects
Criteria
- Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Have an understanding of the needs of HCCC students
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities or have a desire to improve leadership skills
- Must show a positive attitude & be a team player
- Must have sense of responsibility & commitment
- Willing to learn more about the college and share information with others
