Countdown to Commencement '23, Olivia Cook

It’s Countdown to Commencement 2023! We have a graduating class of remarkable students who have creatively impacted our campus community, like Olivia Cook. She graduates this week with a Communication and Media A.S. degree. 

“Herkimer College is the only college in the area that allowed me to pursue a major in Communications and Media, which allowed me to focus on creating a variety of content I wouldn’t have been able to elsewhere – also ensuring I had any resources or assistance I needed,” Cook shared. “(My favorite memories include) any opportunity that allowed me to gain experience with my interests in writing and editing, including being an editor for The General my first two semesters, working in the PR department, and being the fiction editor for the 2022 and 2023 editions of Phaethon.

Cook plans to attend college in Buffalo to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Communications. Congratulations Olivia and to the entire Herkimer College Class of 2023!
