  • Herkimer College to Conduct Emergency Siren Testing
    Herkimer County Community College will conduct a test of its campus emergency siren system on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at approximately 12:30 p.m. The siren may be heard throughout the valley area. Local residents should not be alarmed by the warning signal on that date, as it is a test only. The NY Alert notification system, which sends notices to subscribers via email, fax, phone and text message, will also be tested during this time.

    Herkimer College will be showing “Deepwater Horizon” on Friday, November 18 at 8:00 pm in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, Sarkus-Busch Theater.

    The Herkimer County Community College campus is home to a new weather station that provides real-time data to be used for forecasting and decision making.
