  The annual and regular meetings of the Herkimer College Board of Trustees will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, 282/283. The Executive Committee meeting will be held on Monday, April 10, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. in CA 243.

  Herkimer College Student Elected to Regional PTK Office; Chapter Recognized

  Herkimer College’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) received an award at the PTK New York Regional Convention, held in Rochester, March 17-19, for “Most Distinguished Honors in Action.” The research project, “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work,” explored the theme of how the experience of play can serve as a catalyst for epiphanies, innovations, and inventions. The project was led by chapter president Kyle Poulos, Sanborn, NY, and featured the efforts of many active members. Poulos is a sophomore majoring in Criminal Justice, and he also serves as a student trustee on the Herkimer College Board of Trustees.

  Herkimer College to Host ‘Haunted’ Author Dennis Webster, Friday, March 31

  Herkimer College will host local author and paranormal investigator, Dennis Webster, for a presentation on “Haunted Mohawk Valley” at 1:30 p.m., Friday, March 31, in the Robert McLaughlin College Center (RMCC 288). The event is free and open to the public.

  Herkimer College to hold Spring Open House

  Herkimer College will hold an open house on Saturday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prospective students and families will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet faculty and staff, and learn about programs and services. Families will have opportunities to attend a financial aid session and meet with other prospective and current students. Lunch will be provided.
