Herkimer College to hold Virtual Information Sessions

Prospective students and their families will be able to learn about Herkimer College while staying safely at home thanks to a new initiative provided by the Admissions Office.

The College will be implementing two virtual information sessions. College staff will present a half-hour presentation via video chat about life at Herkimer College, academic opportunities, applying for Fall 2020, next steps for already accepted students, and more. The presentation will close with an open Q&A session.

With the postponement of Spring Open House and the nationwide implementation of social distancing to combat the spread of COVID-19, the virtual information sessions will help ensure students’ lives are not permanently put on pause or adversely affected when it comes time to apply for admission to college.

The virtual information sessions will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 2 and noon Wednesday, April 8. Registration is required at admissions.herkimer.edu/portal/virtual.
