Herkimer College Board of Trustees announces dates for Presidential Search finalist campus visits

The Herkimer College Board of Trustees will host four final presidential candidates for campus visits on November 8, 9, 14, and 15. Open forums for the community will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on each of these dates. Specific meeting locations and candidates’ names will be announced on Tuesday, November 7.

The final four candidates were recommended by a presidential search committee consisting of campus, community, and SUNY representatives. The committee conducted several confidential interviews prior to their selection.

In addition to open forums with the community, candidates will tour campus, and meet with the Board of Trustees and various campus stakeholder groups throughout the day. Upon completion of the four campus visits, the Board of Trustees will make a recommendation to SUNY for Herkimer’s next president.

The presidential search follows the retirement of its fourth president, Dr. Cathleen McColgin, earlier this year. The Board of Trustees has contracted with Pauly Group, Inc. to facilitate the search process.
