  • Herkimer College Student-Athletes Receive Chancellor’s Scholar Athlete Award
    Two Herkimer College student-athletes received the 2016 SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar Athlete Award recognizing a combination of outstanding academic excellence and superior athletic achievement. They were among only 78 recipients from 42 campuses statewide to receive the award this year.
    “Recipients of this award are honored for high achievement in and out of the classroom, accomplishment marked by hard work, dedication and discipline,” said SUNY Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher. “Congratulations to each of this year’s SUNY scholar athletes, and thank you to the many faculty, coaches and staff across SUNY who mentor and support them.”
  • Paranormal Investigation Course Offered at Herkimer College
    Herkimer College will be offering a non-credit paranormal investigation course.
  • Herkimer College Recognizes 147 Scholarship Recipients
    Herkimer County Community College held its annual Scholarship Reception on Thursday, May 5 in the Cogar Gallery of the Robert McLaughlin College Center. A total of 147 students were recognized, along with their donors. In total, 170 scholarships totaling over $118,000 were awarded to deserving students.
  • New Transfer Agreement with SUNY College of Technology at Delhi
    Herkimer College recently entered into a new transfer agreement with SUNY College of Technology at Delhi. The agreement will guarantee Herkimer students a smooth transition upon completion of the A.A.S. Sports and Recreation Management degree program into the B.B.A. Recreation and Sports Facility Management degree program at SUNY College of Technology at Delhi.
  • Herkimer College REV Campus Challenge First Movers
    Herkimer County Community College was recently recognized by New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) as being a participant in the REV Campus Challenge, an initiative which promotes clean energy efforts on campus, in the classroom and in the surrounding communities. Herkimer College was recognized for having a strong desire to jump-start their institution’s commitment to clean energy, engage in energy efficiency opportunities, and investigate the potential for on-campus renewable energy projects.
  • Herkimer College Hosts Midnight Breakfast for Students
    Herkimer College faculty, staff and trustees served breakfast to students at the College’s Midnight Breakfast, an annual event for all students, held in the Dining Center on the last day of classes. Approximately 400 plates were served to students who attended the breakfast on Tuesday, May 10, looking for a late night meal while prepping for finals.
