Men’s Soccer to host Orange at home
HERKIMER, NY - The Herkimer Generals men's soccer team will continue its tradition of playing the Syracuse Orange in an exhibition this Friday, April 17th at Wehrum Stadium with a 7:30 p.m. start.
The Orange, an NCAA Division I program and member of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), are coming off a 16-4-1 record which included a birth into the second round of the NCAA national tournament.
Korab Syla (Yonkers, NY), a former General and NJCAA National Player of the Year, will be in attendance on the Orange roster. Soon to join Syla is Herkimer’s All-American Ben Polk (Banbury, UK). The sophomore led the nation in goals last season, and received a scholarship to play for Syracuse in 2015.
There will be no admission for this event, and it is open to the public.
