Captains Kaffo and Doogan add NSCAA All-American honors

HERKIMER, NY – The Herkimer Generals men’s soccer team had two student-athletes selected to the 2015 NSCAA Junior College Men’s All-American Team on Thursday (12/10). They were captains Femi Kaffo and Connor Doogan.

Kaffo – A Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies major at Herkimer College – now has first team and second team All-American honors between his awards from the NJCAA and NSCAA. The NSCAA gave the London, England native first team honors, recognizing him for his six goals and nine assists in 19 games played for the Generals.

As for Doogan, the Criminal Justice & Law: Cybersecurity major at Herkimer College now adds second team All-American honors to All-Region and All-Conference selections. Primarily a defender for the Generals in 2015, Doogan helped Herkimer to 11 shutouts. That wasn’t it as he also tallied five goals, the fifth best on the team, and helped the program to their 27th consecutive Region III Championship.

“Our Herkimer Soccer family is extremely proud of both Femi and Connor,” said Head Men’s Soccer Coach Pepe Aragon. “They were great captains and leaders throughout the season. They are true All-Americans!”
