Simmons Region III Male Athlete of the Week

HERKIMER, NY – Herkimer Generals Christopher Simmons placed first in six events at the Region 3 Championship this past Saturday (4/30) at SUNY Delhi, helping the men’s track & field program to second place overall. Simmons ran a 11.42 in the 100-meter dash, 23.07 in the 200-meter dash, 50.69 in the 400-meter dash, 43.96 in the 4x100-meter relay, 3:31.48 in the 4x400-meter relay and leaped 13.54 meters in the triple jump. The sophomore’s impressive day helped him earn Region 3 Male Track Athlete of the Meet.
