Herkimer keeps the ball rolling this season with another win Sunday (9/25) versus Niagara Community College Thunderwolves.  Herkimer was the last stop for the Thunderwolves after a long weekend of traveling and playing.  The Generals utilized the depth of their team and home field advantage this game as they scored a season high 11 points.  The first half showed to be fruitful for the Generals as the men scored 7 out of their 11 in the first 45 minutes.  This included a last second goal scored by #24 Luke Murphy (Glasgow, Scotland) as he juggled and gathered a cross-field pass from #23 Gianni Cognata (Cape Coral, FL).

In the second half the Generals came out with consistent energy and control as they held possession of the ball for the majority of the last 45 minutes.  Freshman goalkeeper #40 Roandre Wollery (Hartford, CT) came in to relieve Generals captain #1 Sean Connolly (Latham, NY) the second half for the Generals and locked down the net with two saves.  The Generals defense relentlessly denied the attempts of the Thunderwolves offense and left them scoreless with a final score of 11-0, Herkimer.
