Herkimer Men’s & Women’s Soccer Regional Championship Bracket Released
The Herkimer Generals men’s and women’s soccer are scheduled to host the Region IIIA Semifinal games this week at Wehrum Stadium.
The Herkimer Generals women’s team earned a fourth place ranking in the region with an overall record of 13-3. This ranking matches them up to host the fifth ranked Genesee Cougars tomorrow October 25th, 4 p.m. at Wehrum Stadium. If the women defeat the Cougars they will then move on to the Region IIIA championship game at Tomkins Cortland Community College Saturday October 29th for a 1 p.m. game start. The winner of tonight’s match-up between #9 Mohawk Valley Hawks and #8 Onondaga Lazers will also move on to face #1 SUNY Broome tomorrow. The winner of that game will also move on to Saturday’s 1 p.m. game at Tompkins Cortland for the Region IIIA championship. (See bracket below)

This ranking matches them up to host the #8 seeded Fulton Montgomery Raiders this Wednesday October 26th for a 6 p.m. game time at Wehrum Stadium. If the Generals defeat the Raiders they will move on to face the winner of #5 Erie and #4 Cayuga in the Region IIIA championship game 1 p.m. Sunday October 30th at Tompkins Cortland Community College.
