Campanian named Region III Female Athlete of the Week
HERKIMER, NY – For a second time this season, Herkimer Generals’ cross country runner Victoria Campanian was named Region III Female Athlete of the Week.
Campanian, a Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies major at Herkimer College, took first place overall at SUNY Delhi with a time of 19:56.8 last Wednesday (10/8) and finished in 12th place at the Hamilton College Invitational last Saturday (10/11), first overall of all NJCAA competitors with a 18:17.1. She has one first place and three second place finishes in six races this season.
Her Head Coach Stephen Sydoriw said, “Victoria is continuing to improve her times from last season which has resulted in numerous Top 5 finishes amongst NCAA competition. We wish her the best in conference, regional and national meets!”
