Soccer Alum Anderson in NCAA Division II Final

LOUISVILLE, KY – Former Herkimer Generals men’s soccer star Charlie Anderson (Southampton, England) and Lynn University will be playing in the NCAA Division II National Championship game Saturday, December 6th.

The Fighting Knights defeated Quincy University 4-1 in the semi-final. Anderson, a defender, has helped the Fighting Knights to an 18-1-1 record and a game against the University of Charleston (WV) in the title game at 12 p.m. in Louisville, Kentucky.

Anderson won back-to-back national championships with Herkimer in 2011 and 2012. He will be playing for his third national championship in four years. Anderson’s former Head Coach Pepe Aragon stated, "I am so happy for Charlie's continued success! He makes our Herkimer family extremely proud!"
