Virgil E. Johnson
For his generosity to Herkimer County Community College. Mr. Johnson, a founder of the Mohawk Data Sciences Corporation, was a business man and entrepreneur from Herkimer. His vision for the institution and sizable gifts of MDS stock helped secure the campus site (1967). The College’s primary classroom and laboratory building was dedicated in his honor (1972).
