Many of the programs are also offered entirely online.

Most BHST programs offer a personal, hands-on experience for students. For example, the fashion buying and merchandising program allows students to design clothing and host a fashion show for the community. Our computer network technician program’s interactive classroom environment allows students to install and maintain various hardware devices and platforms as well as document, design, implement and maintain computer networks. The physical therapist assistant program provides daily hands-on lessons and requires a practicum for students in their second year.

Under the leadership of Associate Dean William McDonald, the BHST division employs a total of 31 faculty and staff who are dedicated to preparing students for transfer or careers upon graduation. For more information about academic programs, visit www.herkimer.edu/majors.
