Swimming & Diving recognized by CSCAA

HERKIMER, NY – The Herkimer Generals impressive performance at nationals last week was recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of American (CSCAA), earning honorable mention All-American certificates in four separate events.

Each award came via relays for the Generals, placing ninth in the 400 yd. Medley Relay (5:08.12), seventh in the 800 yd. Freestyle Relay (9:53.05), eighth in both the 200 yd. Freestyle Relay (2:00.95) and 400 yd. Freestyle Relay (4:32.19). Helping Herkimer to those feats were Hannah Watts (Norwich, NY), Erin Hutchison (Macedon, NY), Corinne Richer (Clinton, NY) and Victoria Bemiss (Canaan, NY).

“I am really proud of these young women,” said Head Swimming & Diving Coach Vicki Brown. “They maintained focus and a positive attitude throughout our national championship meet. Both their individual strength and team bond contributed to their success!”
