HCCC Appoints Director of Continuing Education

HCCC announces the promotion of Daniel Sargent of Holland Patent, NY to the position of director of continuing education. Sargent will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Office of Continuing Education including the supervision and development of non-credit programming including community interest, fitness center and professional/workforce development; budget development and management for the Community Education Office, One Stop outreach and the Cogar Gallery; grant writing and managing the usage of campus facilities and related services.

Sargent has served as the assistant to the president since 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Master of Arts in Russian and East European Area Studies from the Russian & East European Institute, Indiana University at Bloomington. He serves on the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities in Herkimer County.
