Joshua Parkinson Appointed Advisement Specialist

Herkimer County Community College has appointed Joshua Parkinson, of Fort Plain, NY, as an advisement specialist in the Advisement Center. Parkinson will advise and assist students with course registration and changes in academic plans.

Most recently, Parkinson served as substance abuse prevention specialist and an adjunct instructor at HCCC. He holds a B.A. in Community and Human Services – Chemical Dependency from the State University of New York Empire State College and is pursuing an M.A. in Information Design and Technology from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute.
