Five Generals Named to the NSCAA All East Region Soccer Team

Herkimer, NY – Five members of the Herkimer men’s soccer team have been selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All East Region team.  Selected to the first team were sophomores Dajhal Kelly (Saint Kitts, Caribbean Sea) the Region III Most Valuable Player of the Regional tournament recorded 21 goals and 5 assists and Eddie Speed (Chester, England) who had two goals and four assists as a defensive workhorse in the midfield and back,

Making the second team were sophomores central mid-fielder Jordan Saling (Haledon, NJ) who recorded twelve goals and nine assists, central back Maans Sorensen (Stockholm, Sweden) who was selected to the Region III all-tournament team and goalkeeper Sean Connolly (Latham, NY) who had a 0.67 GAA.

“All five players are excellent selections for this team.”  Said Coach Pepe Aragon.  All are receiving several calls from four years schools.  They will do great at the next level.
