Women's Basketball Defeats Cougars at Home

Herkimer, NY-- The Herkimer Generals women's basketball team hosted the Clinton Community College Cougars Saturday, February 4th in the General's men's basketball annual Philly tournament.  Herkimer Led throughout the game playing fundamentally strong. Acting Head Coach Jerry Smith stated after the game, "Our women played well, they played four hard quarters."  Top scorers this game were #24 Jazmin Diggs (Poughkeepsie, NY) with 20 points, 6 assists and 7 rebounds.  #21 Jenna Rogers (Port Leyden, NY) also scored 11 points and brought down 8 rebounds.  #2 Sierra Henry 9Newfield, NY) hit 15 points this game 6 of which came from behind the arc.  Herkimer will travel to Fulton montgomery in their next game on February 8th at 5PM.
