4 school records broken at Monroe CC meet

Justin Zalewski v monroe

Rochester, N.Y. - Herkimer had 4 new school records that were broken at their Monroe CC meet.  Amanda Mascia (Matoaca, VA) had a great day for the Generals by breaking two school records in back to back races.  Mascia now holds the record for the women's 50 FR and 100 IM.  This marks the second meet in which Mascia has broken a school record this year.

The men's side would prove to be just as exciting as the women's for Herkimer as Justin Zalewski (New Hartford, NY) would break the 100 IM in the first heat of the event.  Unfortunately for Zalewski his record was then broken by teammate Dan Rawl (Kingston, NY) the following heat to break and reset the record.

Overall their were 10 best times for the Generals.  Herkimer will be on short break until their next meet at ECC on January 13th at 1 pm.
