Mohawk Valley defeats Herkimer 1-0

Herkimer, NY - Elena Ruznic scored with just under 20 minutes remaining in the second half to give the Mohawk Valley Hawks a 1-0 win over the Herkimer Generals on Wednesday night at Wehrum Stadium. The loss drops the #5 ranked Generals to 9-2-1 on the year. Rachel Todd (McGraw, NY) had 4 saves in goal for the Generals. 

The next game for the Generals is on Saturday, Oct 6th as they travel to Batavia, NY to take the # 8 ranked Genesee Cougars. Game time for Saturday is set for 1:00 PM.
