Herkimer Women's Soccer ends season with win over Holyoke CC

Rockford, Illinois - After a disappointing National Quarterfinal loss on Thursday, the Herkimer Generals Women's Soccer team bounced back and ended their season with a 6-0 win over Holyoke CC (MA) in a consolation game of the 2018 NJCAA Division III National Championships. The win gives the Generals a final record of 14-4-1 in Jason Palkovic's third season as head coach.

Sarah George (Dolgeville, NY) wrapped up her career at Herkimer with two goals in the win. Ashley Capron (Burnt Hills, NY), Haley Harrington (Munnsville, NY), and Amber Douglas (Fort Plain, NY) each added one goal apiece. Goalie Rachel Todd (McGraw, NY) closed out the scoring by converting on a penalty kick late in the second half. Caira Miles (Little Falls, NY) made the All-Tournament team for Herkimer. 

The Generals now look to next year as they hope to win the programs 5th region title in 6 years in 2019.
