Herkimer women lose to undefeated Niagara CCC

Herkimer, NY - In their first game of the second semester, the Herkimer women's basketball team lost to undefeated Niagara County Community College by a score of 86-55 on Saturday afternoon in Herkimer, NY.  With the loss the Generals drop to 3-8 on the year while the Division II Thunderwolves improve to 18-0 for the 2018-2019 season.

Freshman guard Lexi Debeatham (Albany, NY) led the way for Herkimer with 17 points on the afternoon. Markia Peak (Rochester, NY) added 13 points, with 11 of those coming in the second half and Clinique Robinson (Catskill, NY) pitched in with 10 points in the losing effort.

Next up for the Generals is a home date with another Division II school as they will host Genesee Community College on Tuesday, January 15th. Tip off is scheduled for 5:00 PM.
