The Herkimer Women’s Soccer Team continued to reload for the next season with several big signings to go along with already committed Courtney Maida from Frankfort. The Generals most recent commits now include Tayler Clark (Poland, NY), Keara Blumenstock (Poland, NY), Kayla Alsheimer (Whitesboro, NY), and Ericka Arancio (Clinton, NY and pictured right). All figure to play crucial roles for the Generals next season as they lost a core of talented players who helped lead the Generals to back to back Regional Championships & National Championship appearances with a 2nd place finish. Coach Jason Palkovic  echoed that sentiment, “It is tough to compete in our region and on the national level year in and year out after having talented players move on every year, but this core group I believe can pick up right where we left off. I have seen them play for quite a while and fully aware of what they are capable of doing. I think they are a great fit with our program and I welcome them and their families into our Herkimer family. All of the players come from very successful high school programs with playoff experience which helps tremendously. I am extremely excited to see what this group can accomplish in the next two years.” Here is a little more about them:
