Mascia, Dang reach personal bests at NJCAA Swimming National Championships

Buffalo, NY - Amanda Mascia (Matoaca, VA) and Hong Dang (Mohawk, NY) turned in outstanding performances and achieved personal bests for the Herkimer Generals Women's Swimming and Diving team at the 2019 NJCAA National Championships in Buffalo, NY. It was a fitting end of a great season for both swimmers.

Mascia's weekend included a 12th place finish in the 50 Freestyle, a 14th place finish in the 200 Freestyle, which was a new school record, and another 14th place in the 100 Freestyle. She also set a school record by placing 13th in the 100 Backstroke. 

Dang's strong showing included a 16th place finish in the 50 Freestyle and a 16th place in the 200 Backstroke. She also set a personal best in the 100 Individual Medley. 

Overall, the Generals closed the season with an 11th place finish as a women's team.
