Herkimer JV explodes for 24-8 win over Utica College JV

Utica, NY - The Herkimer Generals continued their offensive charge Wednesday at Utica College. The Generals pounded 18 hits (9 XBH) in the 24-8 win. Offensively they were lead by Cedric Rose (Pittsfield, MA) who finished the day going 4-5 with 3 RBI’s  Matt Tobin (Poland, NY) who went 2-3 with 5 rbis.

Trevor Porter and Joe Novenche (Clifton Park, NY) homered in the 7th inning for the Generals. Both Finishing the day with 2 hits and 2 RBI’s.

Hiromasa Tanaka (Tokyo, Japan) picks up his second win for the Generals, striking out 2 in his 2 innings of work. Yung Jin Jhee (Suwon, Korea) kept his ERA unblemished working a scoreless 5th inning.

The Generals are back in action Monday (4/29) Once again hosting the Utica College Pioneers.
