Herkimer College Establishes New Transfer Agreement with SUNY Cobleskill

Herkimer County Community College recently entered into a new transfer agreement with SUNY Cobleskill. The agreement creates a seamless transfer into Cobleskill’s Bachelor of Science Communication in Technology program for Herkimer College students who complete the A.S. Communication and Media program.

Additional requirements of the agreement include achievement of a minimum overall grade point average of 2.25 while at Herkimer College. All major field requirements and EN 111 must have C- grades or better to be accepted for transfer credit. Students who do not meet the requirements will also be considered for admission. They will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Herkimer College has more than 150 transfer agreements with four year colleges and universities in both the private sector and SUNY. More than 60 percent of Herkimer College students transfer to continue their education after graduation.
