JV Men's Hoops goes 2-0 over weekend with wins over Sullivan and St. John Fisher

Herkimer and Rochester, NY - The Herkimer Generals Men's JV Basketball team notched 2 wins this past week to move to 3-0 on the season.

On Saturday November 11th the J V Men's basketball team had a 66-65 come from behind home win against Sullivan Community College. The Generals were behind by 16 points but continued to chip away at the lead and went ahead in the last few minutes. Josh Wilcox tied the game late on a pass from Ryo Hikichi. Keneeff Danzy sparked the comeback with 13 points in the second half and finished the game with 19.

On Monday Nov 13th, the JV Generals traveled to Rochester to play St. John Fisher J Vs and played well in the second half for a 76- 62 win. Four players scored in double figures, Tavon Bates 14, Kenneef Danzy 15, Amir Ridge 13, and Rochester native McCollough 16. The Generals also got solid play from Marquise Hibbert with 6 points and 10 rebounds and Ethan Bishop 6 points.

The Generals now get some time off for the Thanksgiving Break before playing again on Thursday December 5th as they get a rematch with St. John Fisher. The game at Herkimer's Varsity Gym will start at 6:00 P
