Herkimer College inducts 61 students into international honor society
Sixty-one Herkimer County Community College students were inducted into the College’s Upsilon Epsilon chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) international honor society during a virtual ceremony on April 27.
PTK was established in 1918 to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. It now has chapters on almost 1,300 community college campuses in 11 countries. Herkimer College students who are inducted join a network of more than 3.5 million members around the world.
Membership is extended to those who have achieved a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA and have accumulated at least 12 credit hours.
