Crittela Paige 2021

Herkimer County Community College has appointed Paige M. Crittela as an admissions assistant.

Crittela, of North Syracuse, New York, is a 2017 Herkimer College graduate, earning an A.A.S. in sports and recreation management. She went on to earn a B.A. in sports business management in 2019 from Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in student personnel administration from Michigan’s Concordia University in June 2021.

While earning her master’s degree, Crittela worked with the women’s softball program as a graduate assistant, assisting with game management and serving as an ambassador during recruitment efforts and prospective student visits.

Crittela recently worked as a graduate intern in Onondaga Community College’s Office of Student Orientation, Leadership, and Engagement, where she collaborated with campus partners and students to identify needs, interests, and barriers to planning programs and events. She also assisted in advising the Student Government Association, which represents all 2,000 enrolled students. She has additional experience with the North Syracuse Central School District as a substitute teacher for various curriculum grade levels, and with Syracuse University after participating in an athletics marketing internship in 2018.

In her new role at Herkimer College, Crittela will assist other members of the Admissions Office in meeting undergraduate enrollment goals through marketing and recruiting efforts, and will assist prospective students and families through the admission and enrollment process.
