Generals Use Second Half Push to Knock off FMCC

Johnstown NY- The Herkimer Generals women's basketball team traveled Wednesday to take on the Fulton-Montgomery CC Raiders.  The Raiders led the Generals 23-22 going into halftime, but the Generals offense exploded in the second half for 49 points en-route to a 71-58 victory. 

The Generals were led by Kapri Bradshaw (Uniondale, NY) who scored 30 points on the night. Bradshaw added 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Shooting guards Monica Hartleib(Canajoharie, NY) and Ajla Sedjic(Utica, NY) both added 15 points for the Generals, going (5/11) from behind the arc. Hartleib added 7 rebounds and 2 assists while Sedjic added 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 5 steals. Jenna Faulkner(Otego, NY) once again turned in a double-double for Herkimer, scoring 10 points while racking up 12 rebounds and 5 blocks. 

Herkimer move to 14-5 on the season with 5 regular season games remaining on the schedule. The Generals are back in action Saturday (2/5) when they host Genesee CC at Noon.
