Herkimer College to Host Survivors of Suicide Loss Day Event, November 19

This will be the first year for the internationally-recognized event on campus.

Herkimer College will host a local event for the International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 19 in the Robert McLaughlin College Center, Room 282.

Each year, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention supports hundreds of large and small Survivor Day events around the world, in which suicide loss survivors come together to find connection, understanding and hope through their shared experience. This will be the first year for the event on campus.

While each event is unique and offers various programming, all feature an AFSP-produced documentary that offers a message of growth, resilience, and connection. The event is open to the public but is for survivors of suicide loss only. A light lunch will be served.
