Offense stalls against Vikings

TROY, NY – The Women's Soccer team traveled to Hudson Valley Community College Wednesday afternoon and left with a loss against the Vikings, 1-0.

Herkimer (7-2-1) had a five-game win streak going into the match-up, four of those wins away.

Hudson Valley scored the lone goal of the game in the first half, when Alex VanAuken found Caroyln Gibbins. It was the fifth goal the Lady Generals have allowed in their last six games, seeing the team outscore opponents 19-to-5 in that span.

The Lady Generals next game occurs during the Fall Fest & Alumni Festival at Herkimer County Community College this Saturday (10/5). Game-time is slated against Broome Community College at 1 p.m.
