HCCC Hosting Region III Men’s Basketball Tournament March 1-3

HCCC will host the Region III Division III Men’s Basketball Championship this Friday, March 1st to Sunday, March 3rd.

The tournament, which will take place at the HCCC Varsity Gymnasium for the first time since 2019, will feature the top eight schools in Region III. The quarterfinals will take place on Friday, the semifinals will take place on Saturday, March 1st and the championship game will take place on Sunday, March 3rd.

Herkimer Men’s Basketball qualified as the number one seed and will play No. 8 seed Hudson Valley Community College on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Tickets will cost $5.00 per game and will be cash-only. HCCC students with college IDs and kids under the age of 12 will receive free admission. Games will be streamed on www.HerkimerGenerals.com/watch for those unable to attend.
