Herkimer College Students Awarded 4 Star General Scholarship

Fifteen Herkimer College students are recipients of the 4 Star General Scholarship awarded to students who complete a series of activities that support student success. The scholarship is valued at $500 and is funded by the Herkimer County College Foundation.

The 4 Star General Scholarship program was created to increase student success, retention, and persistence. Throughout the first semester, students are offered incentives to participate in activities that promote meaningful connections, use of support services and technology, and academic and career planning. To qualify for the scholarship, students must complete and pass First Year Student Seminar and register for their second semester classes. Those students who qualify are entered into a drawing and selected randomly.
