Herkimer College Graduate Jeremy Bell Adds Bull Hill Nature Trail to AllTrails App

Recent Herkimer College Graduate, Jeremy Bell, successfully added the Bull Family Nature trail to the popular All Trails app as part of his honors project while a student.

The trail is part of The Lloyd and Carol Bull Nature center that provides the community with the opportunity for photography, hiking, birdwatching, snowshoeing, stargazing, picnics and wildlife observation.

Jeremy shared his goal with this accomplishment, “In my project I succeeded in having the Bull Family Trail at Herkimer College added to the AllTrails app and was able to procure new trail markers and signage. My goal was to bring awareness of the trail to both students and the community.”

The AllTrails application is a resource used by hikers and nature enthusiasts alike. Offering free and paid options, AllTrails makes it possible to search trails, create custom lists and aid in navigation.

New trail signs were designed in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications office at the College and were installed in late August.
