Herkimer College’s Vasil Brich Earns National and Regional Honor

Herkimer College men’s soccer standout Vasil Brich, of Owego, NY, has been named the 2025 NJCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Player of the Week and the NJCAA Region 3 Athlete of the Week for September 2–9.

Brich led the Generals to two thrilling season-opening victories, tallying four goals and one assist. He scored twice in a 4-2 win over Hudson Valley Community College, then followed with two more goals and the game-winning assist in the 90th minute to secure a 4-3 triumph over Jefferson Community College.

Head Coach Pepe Aragon said, “Vasil is off to a great start this season. He is a great attacking player with a great work ethic and attitude.”
