Herkimer County Community College Announces 60th Anniversary Logo Design Contest
Beginning in January 2026, Herkimer County Community College will kick off its 60th anniversary with events and recognition throughout the year.
To mark this milestone, the College is inviting Herkimer College students and local high school students to participate in a 60th anniversary logo design contest. The winning design will be featured in official anniversary materials, including print publications, social media, merchandise, and event promotions. The winning designer will receive significant recognition and a $100 prize.
“We’re excited to see how our college students and local high school students interpret what Herkimer County Community College means to them,” said Rebecca Ruffing, Director of Marketing and Communications. “This is a special opportunity to showcase creativity while celebrating the College’s legacy and bright future.”
Entries should reflect celebration, connection, and pride in Herkimer County Community College. Designs should be clear and legible at different sizes and suitable for various applications, such as banners, merchandise, and digital use. Clip art, copyrighted images, and overly complex designs should be avoided.
Design entries must be submitted no later than 12 p.m. on November 24, 2025, at www.herkimer.edu/60th-anniversary-logo-contest. A panel of judges will evaluate submissions based on creativity, relevance, and usability.
