Cougars defeat Owls in NJCAA consolation

HERKIMER, NY – In the first consolation game at Wehrum Stadium on Friday (11/14), the Camden Cougars defeated the Union Owls 2-1, scoring both goals in the second half to end their season winning an NJCAA DIII National Tournament game.

The Owls (12-8, 7-3) were the first to score in this one, seeing Alapson Falaise score in the 32nd unassisted.

For a good 15 minutes it went back-and-forth until Camden got their first goal of the game in the 47th. Wren May scored unassisted.

20 minutes later the game-winner was scored by Dylan Hayes on an assist from Zachary Gray. It was Hayes second goal of the season and first winner of the season.

In goal for the Owls was Yulian Ramirez and for the Cougars was Pablo Gonzalez. Ramirez had five saves and Gonzalez had four.
