Herkimer Women's Lax loses close one at Niagara CCC

Sanborn, NY - In a game that was delayed more than an hour due to weather, the Herkimer Generals dropped a 10-9 decision to Niagara County Community College on Wednesday afternoon in Sanborn, NY. With the loss, the Generals drop to 0-6 on the season.

Whitney Brown (Queens, NY) led the Herkimer scoring attack with four goals on the afternoon. Shileeka Williams (Syracuse, NY) added three goals while Ariel Montes (New Rochelle, NY) and Nicole Evans (Cortland, NY) each tallied a goal.

Herkimer will try to break into the win column on Saturday as they host the Erie CC Kats at 1:00 p.m. at Wehrum Stadium.
